Vascular Access

These are mainly dialysis patients. Today most patients can have their own veins used for vascular access. Good pre-operative ultrasound imaging can find veins to be utilized. The patient’s own veins can function for years and give very good dialysis. The following fistulas can be made:

  • Distal Radiocephalic
  • Proximal Radiocephalic
  • Brachiocephalic
  • Basilic Vein Transposition
  • Brachial Vein Transposition
